FAQ: Magi-Nation Duel TCG: Traitor’s Reach -The Moonlands Return-

Will it really take until 12/31/26 to ship?

We have planned for the worst to work for the best. Our team at Arcanist’s Armory has successfully run several kickstarters and there are always delays especially for projects that require creation of some new items like custom promo cards etc and there is always a chance that this becomes as popular as it should and becomes very large. The project will be fulfilled by the end of 2026 and likely before that if all goes well.

Is anything on the Kickstarter exclusive?

Yes, decks purchased after the campaign will not come with randomized foils. The free weebo die, while not exclusive, is a $7 addon all backers get for free and the Tony, Returned promo will be $30 for extra copies while all backers get it free. The decks will be printed with a MH (Moonlands Hero) rarity mark. If the campaign goes well enough to unlock booster packs, similar fully fixed decks will likely be phased out, so this is your chance to get several rare and powerful cards that may be difficult to get directly in the future.

All foil decks will not be sold after the campaign but will be opened and sold or exchanged as individual foils which will likely cost much more than $100 to collect all at once.

Finally created promo cards that are added to decks of their region under their pledge tier terms will only be added for free to the deck at the Kickstarter and will be for purchase, animite trade, or if they run out, possibly not at all, after the campaign (not promising to not reprint them but it may be unlikely with the number of new cards in play).

Does this mean my favorite region might not be printed?

Yes and no. If funding is not achieved for all regions in one go, then there is nothing to stop future campaigns for those decks from running once fulfillment begins. We will try to get all the regions printed at once since it is always better to print more than less at once for prices and availability but we are committed to getting items to people as quickly or slowly as people allow it with their support.

Retailer Questions and do I qualify without a Brick and Mortar?

Hello, we love our friendly local game stores and Arcanist’s Armory even serves as one in Roy.

Whether you are a retailer, or an individual that just believes in the product, and want to sell or giveaway half a dozen decks of the same region, anyone that wants what is in the retailer tiers can pledge for them.

There is too much bias against small home-based game stores which is sometimes all a community has, so we will not be verifying brick and mortar status of your store, or lack thereof. We welcome all that are willing to support the project, though both individuals and stores that receive a promo pack in their retail pledge tier are asked to host a tournament or work with your local players to do so in order to support and grow our Magi-Nation community.

If you ever need to restock we will hold your Kickstarter rate open for you even after the campaign as long as you email us and ask to restock with proof of initial backing.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
