First deck sent to print

Hello everyone,
We are on our way to getting these items made for you all. As a reminder, the digital updating of the original files into modern photoshop for printing is a slow but steady and important process. The first deck has officially been sent to the printers, and as the Naroom deck has 3 different regions of cards in it we can show off official previews of 3 cards sent in the batch for you to see the amazing new borders and the promised commemorative MH rarity mark.
We will continue passing a new deck to the printers every 2-3 weeks until all have been transferred which means we are still exactly on time for the projected schedule. Most addons have been paid for and are in production as well and should be finished well before the printed items. In fact, we received word that all extra copies of the weebo dice should likely be here next month.

Release of the First TR booster box card list
We’re excited to announce the team has finalized the first booster box card list for reprints of the Naroom, Paradwyn, and Weave Regions! You’ll find that all the exciting Traitor’s Reach cards from these regions will be found in the set, as well as reprints across all of Magi-Nation’s original sets. There are also some previously printed Limited promotional cards in the set, which will be included on the rare sheet. These booster boxes contain 150 individual cards, so check out the list below!

Reminder, surveys close tomorrow night so get everything finished before then. Any pledges left at that point that have not collected through Kickstarter, or are just for $1-3 tips, will be marked as closed successfully or cancelled so that you will stop receiving reminders to fill your surveys if that applies to you. If you do, however, want to upgrade your tier, then make sure to do it before end of day tomorrow.

Hello everyone,
We are excited to announce that black core card-stockhas been unlocked, all thanks to an enterprising member of the community who is looking to start a Magi-Nation focused store and campaign circuit.
All non-foil cards in decks, promos, and booster packs will now be upgraded with premium black core. (The foiling process adds its own different foil stock which is why only nonfoils are gaining the core.)
- With black core unlocked by the exact amount in direct payment, we can move the next booster box up! This puts us only $38,000 away from the unlock of the Arderial, Orothe, and Nar box if it stays in the lead!
- However, it’s in hot contention with Cald, Kybar’s Teeth, and D’resh, and could be swapped out any time now!!
While the next booster box is still a ways off, and might not be reached at this time, even if it is not, it will likely be made soon after fulfillment! If you have been holding off to see if blackcore unlocks, now is the time to add something special!
We are extending the BackerKit survey one extra week to account for this new unlock and the US holiday this week. That way, we may update the printing company on the change, and also to give more time to that one-tenth of backers who still have not filled out their surveys.
In other exciting news, an opportunity is allowing us to move the store & project storage to a larger climate controlled spot without any additional costs!
Also, with the move, we are aiming to open a Magi-Nation specialized game store in Richmond, Utah! Assuming the proper permits and licenses go through, we’ll be in brick and mortar!
- This is very good for protection, insuring, and handling of the items.
- We also now own a company vehicle to make inventory transfer easier and safer.
- All these changes are super exciting, but it will make this month more busy than planned and you may experience a slightly longer than usual delay in response time from the team.
Finally, we will be announcing the contents list of the first booster box sometime next week if everything goes according to plan. In case you haven’t seen them yet, these are the current create-a-card promos that have been created and drafted:
Their text may change as playtesting occurs over the next few months, but it is so amazing to see so many awesome new cards and concepts coming out!

$300,000 passed! New booster box unlocked and added to survey options

Hello Everyone,
With the foils auction in full swing and more backers filling out their surveys, we have officially passed $300,000 pledged between the campaign and afterwards. That means that it is time for a stretch goal unlock of a booster box! And here are the results: Out of the box pledges in backerkit, we have
Orothe/Arderial/Nar $4,052.00 Cald/Kybars Teeth/Dresh $3,784.00 and Core/Bograth/Underneath $5944
That means that Core/Bograth/Underneath has now unlocked and been added as a selectable option on pledge questions and addons as unlocked alongside the Weave/Naroom/Paradwyn box!
The next stretch goal is now Black Core upgrade for all cards at $49,500 more needed or $19980 in direct pledges for it's unlockable addon in backerkit. The all foils auction announced in the last update is just under $10,000 in total bids already which helped account for a large part of the jump towards this last unlock! Thanks all for checking it out. Almost every card has a bid and bids are still live for 2 more weeks.

Two new create a card art reveals and new storage auction

Hello Everyone,
It has been a busy few weeks and as long as everything collects we are under $6500 away from the next booster box unlock and $56,500 away from unlocking black core! Thats under 13% to go!
Above you can see Matt Holmberg’s art for the next two create a card creature promos. All standard tier purchases of naroom decks will now get both a Darkwood Furok and a V’ryle added. These also come in the promo bundles and are selectable in backerkit now for additional copies in the addons as well!
To help us get over the top on the next booster box unlock (Bograth/Underneath/Core is still in the solid lead position) we are auctioning the foils from the storage unit. Photos will be shared at the end of this announcement for those interested. All cards up for bid are foils. A non foil auction will occur later to help keep them straight and avoid fulfilment errors.

The instructions for how to bid are listed at the top of the sheet and bids will close the later of June 15th at 5 pm mountain time or 48 hours after the last bid if cards continue getting bids at the end to prevent sniping. We have added a new autobid feature as well that is new so let us know if you encounter any problems.
