We wanted to wish everyone a very special Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the teams at Duelworks and Interactive Imagination with not one, but two holiday pieces!

Fulfillment Has Completed

Hello Moonlanders!

Well, folks, we are happy to announce that the final Kickstarter pledge has been packed and shipped. At this point, everyone should have received a tracking number from USPS or UPS, except for those of you in Europe, who will receive instructions from Word Forge Games. If you haven’t received a message concerning your package, we recommend checking your spam folder or other filters before sending a message to [email protected].

If you were one of the 14 backers who did not complete your survey, your order will be cancelled, as we cannot fulfill it without your information. As compensation, you will receive a gift card to the Arcanist’s Armory equivalent to your pledge amount sent to the email on record. If you have already reached out, but did not receive a resolution, please follow up now so that the fulfillment team has time to verify things and correct any mistakes before the end of the year if possible.

As a final thank you to everyone for your unyielding patience and support while we faced delays, tariffs, and a myriad of other setbacks, please accept this official Magi-Nation art piece, illustrated by the talented Wendy Loredo!

December Shipping Update!

Hello Moonlanders!

Sending an update on the status of shipping!

We are currently under 250 orders left to ship, from an original number of 1,088! That leaves us with less than 23% fulfillment to finish! We saw a strong surge in the beginning, but as orders progressed that required more complicated pulls or packages to ship, we’ve been forced to slow down a bit. Unfortunately, this makes a goal hard to determine, so we are unwilling to commit to a hard deadline (though we at least hope to have everything out by 2026, which will still put us a year ahead of schedule from the original Kickstarter Project Fulfillment Deadline by End of 2026, and we think that’s pretty neat!).

For those of you hoping to get your cards by Christmas, and who may not, we sincerely apologize for the disappointment this may cause. We do ask that you not request special accommodations, as picking out individual orders to ship will increase the time for everyone else to get their cards. Fortunately, to help us complete fulfillment, Lead Artist Matt Holmberg has graciously lent a hand, shipping himself out to Utah to help ship the rest of the packages to their owners!

For European orders, two of the six packages were delayed or lost in customs. We have reshipped those packages and received confirmation this morning from our fulfillment center, Word Forge Games, that they are in hand and accounted for, meaning that the center will be shipping all European orders starting Monday.

Despite the trials and tribulations, it’s been a joyous process packing everyone’s cards up and sending them to their destinations. Seeing everyone post their loot in the Discord server and Reddit subreddit has been nothing short of a dream. We encourage everyone to keep posting their findings with what foils and rares they have in their decks and packs. It’s all been very exciting!!

As an addendum, there are a few things brewing backstage that we hope to unveil soon. What are they? We don’t know! But we might! In a few weeks!

Happy Halloween, Moonlanders!

We are pleased to announce that shipping fulfillment has processed over 50% of all orders! That means half of everyone who has supported the project should have received their stuff (or it is currently in transit). We started shipping products in the last week of September, and with 50% fulfilled at the end of October, we’re making steady progress to get everyone the cards they’ve been waiting for! Keep an eye on your emails for shipping updates, and if you haven’t yet received an email with tracking, you still have time for any last minute address changes. Just be aware that once the email with tracking has been sent, you no longer have the ability to change your address and must take alternative methods to receive your product.

With shipping over halfway completed, we want to acknowledge some things our backers have noticed so that everyone is all on the same page. First of all, you should expect a double back card in the Naroom deck. This was intentional for printing purposes, and can be used for a variety of purposes! It can be used as a dummy card for a stack of Magi with a Dual Magi card, a bookmark, a nice piece of art to look at, or it can work great as a snack for your fird!

We are also aware of some typos on cards. As hard as we tried to catch all errors, an unfortunate few slipped through our midsts. We appreciate the call out and concern from our backers. Even so, we were able to produce a product with a mere 1% error rate, which is exceptionally good considering the size of our team and the amount of cards they had to examine. Despite the errors, we are proud of the work they did and we appreciate your support as well.

Some of you may have also noticed some adjustments to Magi titles. This was intentional for simplifying names on cards for the game mechanics that use them. Some examples would be Blygt, who is no longer titled Magnificent Remembering Guy (though he retains that title in the flavor text), and Fossik is subtyped as simply Keeper. Are there any other Magi title changes you can spot? 😀

Another important discovery is a predictability in the foils within booster pack boxes. It has been noticed and confirmed that within a booster box, a foil is most likely contained within the third, seventh, eleventh, and fifteenth pack of either stack. This was not intentional but since it is consistent with inspected boxes by different QC team members, we wanted to make the community aware of this in case anyone decides to purchase singles of booster packs while hunting foils. Just make sure that you trust the seller to either pick packs in the same order the box provides or shuffle them all together. This does increase the likelihood of your booster boxes getting a full eight foils, but we wanted to make the community aware of this in order to protect themselves as well. Packs sold from the Arcanist’s Armory will be pulled from booster boxes in order as purchases come in.

And finally, as a special thank you to everyone who has supported the project, we are proud to present a special commemorative art piece in the spirit of Halloween! The art was done by artist team member, Wendy Loredo, and features a Naroom magi in the midst of a frightening run in the Avoid the Agovos game, a popular attraction in Vash Naroom that has suddenly been haunted by creatures of the Core! Oh no! How ever will he escape from this spooky turn of events??

Shipping has charged/Started and FAQ for shipping

Hello Backers,

Shipping has charged correctly (for all but 9 backers whose cards are erroring out and the 19 backers that never filled out their surveys to completion in the first place).  Under 3% errored out is actually a very good rate, and we are proud of all of you for being on top of things.  If yours errored out for either reason, let us know and we can still get those fixed too.

So now that shipping collected:

-We have now shipped over 300 packages with right around 70% left to ship.  Each week we anticipate shipping between 7-12% of the orders based on that week’s complexity of orders etc and we will keep regular updates posting to keep you in the loop on the progress.
-if you are in the UK/EU the orders are on their way to Wordforge games in the UK for forwarding.  
-Shipping confirmations for everyone else should be emailed from pirateship.com automatically when your package ships out to the email where you filled out your survey.

SHIPPING FAQS SO FAR:

-if you get a random open box that is either white, or is a region box that says foil, then those contain your promos and random foils from the order
-if you have any items missing or incorrect in your order contact the fulfillment team at [email protected] missing or incorrect items will be fixed now.  

-Any items requiring replacement will be saved to be addressed once all backers have received their initial pledges to make sure that there are sufficient extras for any needed replacements.  So far, accuracy appears standard for these orders which means that the vast majority are going out great, and we are happy to help get the remainder fixed quickly and efficiently.
